Here is Eli's duck. I think he's going to love it!

The Pillows

I bought these cute little pillows for Ethan and Eli yesterday. Ethan's is a frog and Eli has one that is a duck. We walked into the back entrance of Younkers and here was these pillows. Ethan loved the them right away. The choices were...a cow, sheep, duck, girraffe, Moose, gorrilla, and of course the frog. Ethan loves to grab his and lay on it. I think Eli is going to love his too! I love these two little grandsons so much, there's only one thing that comes close to the love I have for these two little guys and that is our children. They are the sunshine is my life!!

Perfect love sometimes does not come until grandchildren are born.
(How true is that!)

Johnny thought that it was time to go for a bike ride and he decided to ride Emma's bike. He rode it around the block and got pretty tired and hot.
By the look on his face I think it was getting the best of him.
We were visiting my mother and getting family pictures done. My little sister and part of her family was back from Utah, so we thought it would be a good time to get it. Our mother has a wheelchair that she uses and seems weird to see her in it. Back to Johnny.....he did give up the bicycle after one lap around the block.

This little guy loves to play in the dirt.
It was a very nice day to do just that.
We took him outside to take in some of
the sunshine. We enjoyed the day and
so did Ethan.

What a Beautiful Day

Grandma and her Camera again!

I love this picture of Ethan. He looks so
grown up, and he's only sixteen months
old here. He poses for pictures and he
always knows when Grandma has her camera
out. Did I tell you that I love being a Grandma
to these wonderful grandsons.
I really kind of like this picture of John and I.
This was taken after church a year or so ago.
Great smiles!

The storm.......

What a day we had yesterday. Came home from church and the skies weren't looking good at all. To the north of us the skies were getting pretty dark. Around four o clock we were seeing family on John's side and we got a call from Alisha telling us that there were two big bangs and out went our lights....
So, now we have spagetti sauce that has been made but no spagetti. Not good.....
The best thing that happened out of the lights being out was that we went and visited with John's sisters who was staying the night at the Comfort Inn. It was great to be able to sit and talk with them. It had been a long time!
Johnny and Shanna were on their way home from Logan, Utah and they had a very unhappy little boy. I could hear him in the back ground as Johnny and I talked. I asked Johnny to put the phone to his little ear.
I started to sing to him and the song goes like this: Go to sleepy little baby- Go to sleepy little baby- when you wake, we'll patty-patty cake, and ride upon a little pony.
I probably repeated this about four times and it got really quiet, I thought maybe the connection was gone. Johnny came on and said " We need to get you taped because he stopped crying.
How funny is that? I would sing this same little song to our children when they were babies.
I love our grandchildren with my whole heart, they make me smile and they bring me so much happiness in my life. I am one lucky grandma, I really am..........

Can't get enough of these little squeezes!

Grandma's Boy

Ethan on a Sunday afternoon walk.

Went for a walk with Ethan this afternoon after church. This tree looks like something you would see in Karate Kid. The sun was shining and it wasn't to hot. He pushed his stroller all over the place. I love Sunday afternoons!
